About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To take my online language teaching venture on a never-ending vacation around the world. Lifeguards won't be the only ones whose office is a beach!
ABOUT ME
Sporty and easy going, I'm a laid-back guy who leads a simple lifestyle and just goes with the flow. I can talk to anyone - even better if you speak English or Spanish - have a beer with anyone - or whatever tipple tickles your fancy, the first one's on me! - and tolerate practically everyone and everything - we're not all made for each other are we?
PHILOSOPHY
Live life for the moment, have fun and dont stress, you are probably better off than 90% of the world's population.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Organising English-speaking events in Valladolid, Spain and the best Australia Day parties whenever I'm away from home on this day. Fact!
I always try to meet up with locals when I'm in there neck of the woods cause I can find out the history of a building with a few clicks of a mouse, but I can't find out your earliest memory of that same building unless you're there to tell me. Oh, and tour companies don't organise 10 hour night bike rides through the streets of Singapore now do they!
Interests
Sport - mainly football, rugby league and cricket. I always do my best to kick a ball around whenever the opportunity arises.
Eating - whatever doesn't kill me, as long as I don't know exactly what it is til afterwards.
Languages - helping English learners of all shapes and sizes and then hoping Spanish speakers have the patience to help me back.

Music, Movies, and Books
Mainly mafia movies and books. Not really into mainstream, but I'm no indie film buff either.
Alternative/rock/indie (or once indie) music such as tool, tea party, queens of the stone age, the living end, muse, arcade fire. I've got a bad ear and no idea about music, but I know what gets my feet tapping. Whatever floats your boat!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2003 I travelled Europe solo for 6 months and then the Americas for 3 months, before I'd even heard of couchsurfing :(
