About me:
Born and grew up in a small town in Kedah, northern Malaysia called Sungai Petani (SP) where I spent my childhood and finished my high school.
I’m very much living independently since I was 18 years old. Generally, I’m easy going, humble and open minded. I’m lacto-ovo vegetarian since 17.09.2001 (24 years)

My hometown is also closer to Penang, about 45min drive. Penang island is famous in Malaysia, a lot of them love Penang for the UNESCO World Heritage Site and the foods as well.

My PAST:
After high school, I started work in Singapore for first 4 years from 2006 till 2010 and then left Singapore for further my studies in Malaysia. Studied at Nilai, a town closer to KLIA airport & PJ and worked in Kuala Lumpur from 2012 till 2015.

My CURRENT:
End 2015, I moved to Johor Bahru, JB, when I got job in Singapore. JB is the southern gateway to Malaysia and accessible to Singapore by road. Hence I planned commute daily from JB to Singapore for work. That’s my current story again, after stayed in Singapore for 3 years during COVID.

My INTERESTS:
Open to new experiences.
Love outdoor activities like hiking, nature walk; cafe hunt, light cooking, learn new cultures/experiences and mobile photography. Also, can be said I’m an orophile!

I can host in JB, Malaysia if I’m available or not too busy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A great platform to make some new friends, learn/share ideas, travel experiences and cultures.
Sometimes can be your friendly guide when I’m available. I’m happy to drive you around nearby places and sometimes even far if time permits.
I can host in JB if my place still available, a city closer to Singapore.
Take note that my place located about 21km away from JB immigration to Singapore, about 40min drive, 19km to Senai Airport, about 25min drive in non-peak hours.
Nearest bus station: Tunku Tun Aminah (TUTA) Bus Terminal. But, Larkin Bus Terminal is major bus station in JB which located in between my place to JB town.
If you are coming from KL/Malacca by bus, you can chose to alight at Sri Putri Petron Petrol Station and take a grab car to my place. As the bus route usually go to Larkin terminal and then TUTA terminal. As this road, Jalan Skudai/Skudai Highway usually with heavy traffic jam during peak hours and on weekends. Then, your journey needs additional 2 hours+

Tamil is my native language, Malay is my national language and obviously I speak English too. Fairly good enough in all languages.

My apartment comes with basic facilities such gym, swimming pool, tennis court! Surrounded by public park, hypermarket/supermarket, cafe/restaurant, street foods, fast foods, pharmacies, self-laundry shop etc (in walkable distance).
