Im an outgoing open minded 22 year old irish guy who has been very fortunate to have travelled to some amazing places with my family.
I was born in Bahrain in the middle east and a after a few months my family moved to London for 3 years. After that we moved to New York and stayed there for 10 years. I grew up playing ice hockey, soccer, swimming, tennis and never passed an opportunity to play other sports as well!
At the age of 14 we visited Bahrain for the Rugby Club reunion whom my dad was a member of. We actually ended up never going back to New York and moved our lives to Bahrain! I completed the rest of the school year there and then decided i wanted to go to Boarding school in Ireland. So i moved at 15 i went to boarding school as my family stayed in Bahrain. I have 2 sisters and a brother and we were all born within four years of each other! So every year after i went to boarding school another one followed until we all were in school here and my parents then moved over as well. I began playing rugby in school and eventually progressed to a level where i was selected to represent a rugby academy. I played there for two years and learned so much. After that i moved to Dublin to pursue a university degree of Food science. While in dublin i played some very good rugby and was asked to trial for the Irish Mens Sevens Team. I was very fortunate to make the starting team and i played in tournaments over May June and July in Bosnia, Croatia and Portugal! It was one of the most amazing experiences.
While studying a massive opportunity arose to study for a semester abroad and that has brought me down to Australia, a country I've always dreamed of visiting!
Right now Im studying Food Science for the Semester in the University of Queensland in Brisbane and having an amazing time! Once i finish my semester i am travelling the coast of Australia from Cairns to Sydney! In my eyes is the trip of a lifetime and it can't come quick enough.
Aside from my background i really enjoy meeting new people and hearing about there past experiences and places that they want to travel to next. i am a really easy going guy who enjoys doing stuff on the spot. Ill go for a beer any time or ill walk a trail for the whole day to see an epic few! as long as its all in good spirit than i am happy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im on couch surfing because i believe it is the best ways to meet new people. People who are part of the couch surfing community are on here because they all have the same passion, Travelling!! You get to meet real people who genuinely want to show you what there country has to offer and help you however they can!

Interests

I am really interested in photography and videography! Its a real strong passion of mine that i haven't had a chance to work on yet and i really want to learn everything there is about it.
Of course i love food!! I love trying new foods so that i can experience other countries cultures. Everyone has to eat so its something we all share in common! Food doesn't have to be presented nicely in my eyes it just has to smell great and taste better thats all that counts!!
Ive grown up playing sport and i love all sports. Especially sports I've never had the chance to play.
