Overview
About Me
I love travelling and meeting people from different cultures. I've travelled a lot in Europe using Workaway, Couchsurfing, hitch-hiking, roadtrips, wild camping etc. Nowadays I teach English online and travel whenever I can.
Some of my favourite travelling jobs included:
- Being a vegetarian chef at a yoga centre in Sweden
- Working with 500 huskies in Finnish Lapland
- Being an outdoor instructor/forest teacher for school children in the UK
I'm also fully vaccinated and take good Covid care ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it's a great way for hosts to experience something not normally found in daily life and a really useful tool for travellers. In all my relationships, I try my best to ensure there is an equal exchange. While traveling I am always hugely grateful for any small way in which someone can help me.
I haven't Couchsurfed for a few years but still interested in meeting other travellers. Hoping I'll be able to host people myself one day!
Interests
I enjoy being active and spending time in nature, by hiking, cycling, running or just lazing under a tree for an afternoon.

Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly listen to guitar based music - rock and metal of some description, particularly progressive rock (think 1970s), classic rock, symphonic metal etc. I'm interested in most genres though and enjoy exchanging recommendations.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in a community in France with no buildings, electricity or tap water for 2 months!
Teach, Learn, Share
Interested in learning whatever is offered to me and teaching whatever I can in return.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can introduce you to some vegetarian or vegan recipes if you are interested in cooking. I think I have a few interesting stories from travelling to share!
