ABOUT ME

I am adventurous, looking out for opportunities to be out in nature. I quickly get bored with life in concrete jungles, so seek open landscapes, wide spaces, blue skies, wide horizons etc. I like to exchange experiences and learn about other cultures. I have an appetite for new flavors (as long as they are vegetarian) ..I am a creative person, and always enjoy a company with good sense of humor.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a PhD student in Marketing. Whenever time permits, I like to run, travel, read, talk, write, and play.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have visited a few couchsurfers and hosted one. It has been a great experience by far. I look forward to knowing more people and cultures. I like the fact that unlike travelling alone, CS gives me an opportunity to see the everyday life in a city and their citizens. Much better view of the culture than through books or solitary explorations.

兴趣

I love being out with lively people, exploring new vistas, unexplored natural views, traveling. Pushing myself to try new things, is also what gives me joy - it can be anything from running long distance to trekking, to river rafting to a night in a new culture. I love reading about human behavior, language, biographies, humor and almost anything that catches my eye. I also write regularly about the things that move me. Love listening to rock, classic to progressive to alternative.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Visited Tanot Mata Temple (in Jaisalmer, India). saw bombs that were dropped there during war, and none of them exploded. All those bombs are still there.
