About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Just to get through the next couple of weeks! (it's almost the end of the University year)
ABOUT ME
About me... I am very down to earth, trustworthy, easy to get along with, fun to hang out with... I don't drink or smoke, or anything like that though,(miss goody two shoes really...)
PHILOSOPHY
Promoting intercultural understanding between different people around the world, because when people learn about other cultures, they appreciate them more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't actually couch surfed, but I've been on exchanges to Japan, and I've visited Australia.
Interests
Lots of stuff... other languages and cultures, flying, traveling, reading, movies, shopping (if I can afford it), learning new stuff (especially new languages), cruising on huge ships, fishing, walking around or up stuff (if it's not too steep!), visiting friends and family, food (pretty much any kind of food - YUM!), I love animals & lots of other stuff that I can't think of right now..

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies! I like all kinds pretty much, e.g. Ace Ventura Pet Detective (that's so funny!), Lord of the Rings, Pride and Prejudice, Hana yori Dango (Japanese Drama), Crouching Tiger - Hidden Dragon, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Lethal Weapon series, Jackie Chan movies...
Music! Um ok, I'm really bad at remembering names so just take my word that I pretty much like everything from Classical (e.g. The Four Seasons, Vivaldi) right up to pop music, regae (I think I've spelt it wrong), and rock (as long as I can hear the words still - and as long as it doesn't have too much swearing in it).
Books! OK, I like these too.. Um, let me think of some - I like all sorts really - adventure ones, true story ones, made up ones, science ones, rhyming ones, love stories...I like Authors such as Sherell (I think that's spelt wrong) Jordan, Catherine Cookson, Wilbur Smith, the lady who wrote Wild Swans, Roald Dhal (hey! I'm still kid at heart!), um.. and lots more but I forget the names.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went ice skating for the first time in Japan early this year! That was sooo much fun!! I've also seen the "luminarie" (a big light display) in Kobe, Japan - to commemorate the people that died in the earthquake there some years ago.
