Resumen
Sobre mí
Hi there! I’m from Tokyo, Japan. People often describe me as calm, friendly, and a good listener. I’m always curious to learn from different cultures and meet people from all walks of life.
After graduating from junior college, I worked at a trust bank handling pension-related paperwork. Over time, I became more interested in helping people directly, which led me to various volunteer activities — from a suicide prevention helpline to bringing Christmas gifts to children through a nonprofit. I also started a small study group focused on solving social issues using AI, and we even joined a hackathon hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government!
I’m currently learning English and hope to improve through conversations with people from around the world. Couchsurfing, for me, is not about dating or romantic connections — it’s about genuine cultural exchange and friendship. I don’t host guests at my home, but I’d love to meet up, share ideas, and learn from each other.
Looking forward to meeting you and sharing stories 😊
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I love connecting with people from different countries and cultures. Through volunteering, learning traditional Japanese music (Gagaku), and even dancing tango in Argentina, I’ve realized how meaningful and fun it is to share experiences with others.
I’m currently studying English, and I think Couchsurfing is a great way to improve while also learning about the world from real people — not just textbooks. I hope to meet open-minded, kind people and create memories through good conversations, meals, and cultural exchange.
Intereses
- learning about local traditions
Música, películas y libros
I love music from Studio Ghibli films, as well as musicals like Disney and Shiki Theatre Company productions.
Algo increíble que he hecho
Before traveling to Argentina, I practiced Argentine tango in Japan. When I visited, I had the chance to take lessons from a local teacher and even made my debut at a milonga (a social tango dance event). It was an unforgettable experience!
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I’ve been learning Gagaku, a form of ancient Japanese court music, for many years. I’d be happy to share what I know about it, including its history and instruments. If you’re interested and there’s an opportunity (like a local event), I can even introduce the instruments in person!
I’m currently learning English and would love to improve through natural conversation. I’m also curious to learn about other cultures, traditions, and daily life around the world.
