About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Conquer the world with my black hoe like stomach!
ABOUT ME
First of all, I'm extremely healthy. Sometimes I feel like consulting with a doctor about my health, "Doctor, I drank tap water in India and still nothing happens. Is something wrong with me?" I really appreciate my health because it makes traveling much more fun, and also I believe that health of body and mind are connected.
Since I left Japan in 2005, I've been out of my country for most of the times. I do enjoy traveling, of course, as other CS members do, but I'm more interested in LIVING somewhere new since visiting somewhere and living there are always different. I want to be a part of society to get to know it better. I want to pay tax, I want to be an expert of public transportation, I want to get some affects from politic, etc. I've lived in the US for almost 4 years, moved to Denmark afterwards, then worked in Bhutan for 2 and half years. I'm moving to Germany in while.
PHILOSOPHY
Nothing happens without making choices. I believe that every single thing, no matter how small thing it is, happens on my decision. Decision making or making choices is big deal in life. At the same time, I find it silly to regret decision in the past. Decision making is a big deal, but it's not about what I choose; it's about how to make the decision right afterwards. Making decision is just for getting something started. It doesn't mean more than that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm very new to CS, and so far I've only surfed. I would love to host once I settle in somewhere.
Interests
Meeting other travellers and sharing experiences are always interesting and that's one of the biggest reason I continue travelling. I also love to eat. I can eat! Going to a new place and discovering new things is also my passion in travelling (probably it is for most of the travellers as well). It really helps me to understand myself too. By knowing other cultures or customs, I get to know that my perspective or understanding on something was actually culturally based. I enjoy listening to live music too, especially classical music.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huge Mozart fan since I was little. Any TV ads, movies, TV series using Mozart makes me excited. Do I like the movie "Amadeus?" Of course!! I'd devoted my love only to Mozart for long time, but I started to enjoy (especially playing) Beethoven and Schubert as well. They are all from similar era, but my interest is becoming little bit wider... After 200 years or so, I might start to like contemporary music. Let's see...
I don't like any violence. No violent moves are appreciated. I don't watch many movies, but if I watch one, I always choose one without even a drop of blood.
Once I start to read, I read a lot. When I was in Kolkata, India, I read 15 books in 2 weeks. I read in Japanese, and I prefer Japanese authors probably because I can understand their senses more. My favorite author is Ango Sakaguchi who wrote beautiful essays.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One? Only one?? Let me think....
Teach, Learn, Share
I wanna know anything I don't know. I'm very interested in science although I'm really bad at science. I also wanna know about politics although I have no idea how politics are working.
Hmmm, what can I teach? Let's see. Maybe you'll learn something from me, maybe not...
