About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning to travel on my own. I'm tired of waiting for others to see the world with me.

ABOUT ME

I'm a quiet, respectful introvert, but also adventurous and fun-loving. I have a remarkably bad memory, but I never forget to say "yes" to a beer.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm cautious and logical, but very open minded, fun-seeking and willing to take risks. All good things in moderation, right? I believe in trying everything once and giving everyone the benefit of the doubt. I believe we do has an impact on the world, so I try to be respectful of the people, things and environment around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just starting as a surfer, but might host in the future. My couch is really cozy!

Professional-in-Training

Interests

I'm an avid Netflix watcher, concert-goer, foodie and craft beer drinker. I'm interested in new experiences, open minded individuals and any dessert involving lemons or blueberries.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch something almost daily, and it's frequently a sci fi show (Joss Whedon, Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica), a British comedy or an indie movie that Netflix promises I'll love. Music-wise, I enjoy a lot of British bands (Muse, Editors, Bloc Party), along with indie and post-rock. Book-wise, I'm a huge fan of Steinbeck, Austen and the classic novels everyone hated in high school; although these days, I most often read dystopian lit or Doctor Who novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I snorkeled with sharks (literally, me on the water as they munched some raw meat dangling from a rope below) in the Caribbean.
