I am a 25yr old Teacher from the Land Down Under, Australia. I am a native English speaker but I can also speak 3 other Indigenous Australian Languages fluently.

I love the great outdoors. I love hiking, camping, fishing, anything really that involves nature. I am a lover of sports, I play Touch Rugby, Rugby Union, Rugby League, Basketball, Volleyball and Netball. Oh and I love dancing and feeling the rythym of music and dances of the places I visit.

Overall, my life involves a lot of sports, being active and being outdoors. I like being social and enjoy intellectually stimulating conversations. I also enjoy various artistic endeavors.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to immerse myself in the culture of the country I am visiting. I like to see the country through the eyes of the locals; this cannot come from visiting as a tourist. I believe couch surfing is a platform which we can use to fully immerse ourself into another culture. I am very fond of cultural exchanges, hence why I am on here.

I look forward to meeting travellers and hosts alike and sharing my part of the world. When I travel I truly value "local wisdom" and believe that it is a combination of people and places that makes travel such an enriching experience.

I am learning to polish my guitar skills and Spanish, although my Spanish is " horrible" haha.

I can point you in the right direction or take you around to see the beautiful sights of Cairns. Not to mention we have many waterfalls in close distance, nice tropical beaches, coral cay Islands, an ancient world heritage Daintree Rainforest to the north and lastly the Great Barrier Reef of the coast (The largest reef in the world). I am told I am fun and funny. So you will hopefully receive a good ab work out from my presence.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lounge room with couch or a swag to roll out on the floor, or a spare room with a bed. Own bathroom and a shared kitchen.
