About Me

Me and my wife are both sharing this account as hosts and travelers. Yay! Sharing.
So we shall be giving you an insight into the two of us.

My name is Hasan. I am a young man driven by this incredibly overpowering desire to see the world. Since a young age my parents released me to the wonders of the discovery channel (back when we watched TV), and programs like Globe Trekkers fed an insatiable wanderlust.

Since then, every single activity I do, or every penny I make, all goes towards the intention of seeing this wonderful world and its many cultures before capitalism or urbanization destroys it. Yikes!

The great thing is my wife feels the same, so the two of us enjoy our wacky adventures across the globe and document them (to our best ability) with our own collection of Globe Trekker style documentaries.

To finish off, I love stories. I love to tell stories and hear stories. This kinda means I'm very sharing then. Well yeah. I love to mingle and delve into other cultures and try the foods, the customs and everything in between. I am a true believer in humanity and equality, in a world where the media tells you otherwise. We are all evolutionary brothers and sisters so should treat each other like family. By the way, we are nice to our families. One love, peace, unity and that, but most importantly trust.

Now my beautiful wife.

Hello I'm Ayesha and I have inherited the love of traveling from my wonderful husband. Our mission in life (before we have kids) is to travel, travel and travel as much as we can. We are quite an adventurous couple and we have done some crazy stuff like bungee jump in Dubai, paragliding in Turkey and zip-wire in Thailand, swimming with the dolphins and blah blah.

My origins are from the mysterious northern Territories of Hindu Kush and this makes me a mountain girl. ( Hasan's just from Manchester). From a very young age I have played in raging rivers and explored my majestic mountainous village. Gazing at the valley, I always thought how amazing our world is. I still remember those silent nights when me and my siblings used to tell each other the folk stories and myths hidden in the mountain.

I believe in togetherness and love to bring people closer. Appreciate the little things in life and one day, when you look back, you will realize how fantastic it is! I want to gather a massive amount of memories so that when I am old, I will sit with this humongous smile when people ask me, "What have you done?" Yes, I did that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why are we couchsurfing Ayesha?

Because, lets be honest, it's cheap!

No, we are couchsurfing because when you stay in resorts (which we hate) or some hotels, they always show you this polished vision of a country that seems fake. Holiday areas take you away from the real country. We want to see the hidden essence, away from massive photoclick crowds and punters. The best way to see a country, to experience the world, is through the people that live it.

Also, we would like to meet people from different worlds because it's just like traveling - for when they share their experiences with us, we feel like we have been there.

Basically meet peeps!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To marry Hasan :DDDD

I guess I better write 'To marry Ayesha' before I get my ass kicked! So yeah.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ayesha Says:
-Eat, Love and Pray :-)
-Travel while you're young and able. Don't worry about money. Experiences are more valuable than money.
-Live and let live.
-When there is a will, there is a way.

Hasan says:
-I don't really know what this section is about to be honest.
-Never eat yellow snow.
-Don't put too much chili powder in a curry because it ruins the taste.
-Don't let others roll your dice, you roll your own dice.
-YOLO!
-'Hey you guys!'
