Hi, I'm Hashimoto Situmini! I’m originally from Sri Lanka and now living in Yabu, Hyogo, Japan with my husband. I love meeting new people, sharing experiences, and learning about different cultures.

🎶 Music: I enjoy a mix of genres! From relaxing acoustic tunes to energetic pop and classic oldies, I love discovering new music. I also have an interest in cultural and traditional music from different countries.

🎬 Movies: I love movies that inspire, entertain, and make me think! Whether it’s a heartwarming drama, an exciting adventure, or a classic comedy, I enjoy a good film. Some of my favorites include All the President's Men, The Godfather,Titanic,Fast & Furious,Game of Thrones etc..

📚 Books: I enjoy reading books that expand my knowledge and imagination. Whether it's fiction, biographies, or travel-related books, I always appreciate a good read. Some of my favorite books are, On the Road (Jack Kerouac),The Beach (Alex Garland),The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien etc..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving to Japan and starting a new life has been an incredible journey! Adapting to a new culture, learning the language, and exploring beautiful places has been both challenging and rewarding. It has opened my mind to new experiences and given me the opportunity to grow in ways I never imagined.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my knowledge of Sinhala, English, and Japanese, as well as insights into Sri Lankan culture, traditions, and food. I also have experience in graphic design and photo editing, so I’d be happy to share some tips!

I love learning new languages and cultures! Currently, I’m learning Dutch, Italian, and Arabic, and I’d love to practice with native speakers. I’m also curious about different cuisines and would love to learn how to cook traditional dishes from different countries.

I enjoy sharing good conversations, cultural experiences, and travel stories. I’d also love to introduce others to Sri Lankan food and teach some basic phrases in Sinhala!
