Hi, I am Hasnain (or has9), currently a Post-Doctoral Scholar, love my family and friends with all my heart (especially my mother, The Aunt and Sister-In-Law: they cook really good), I finished my Bachelors in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Bangladesh and moved to Richmond, Virginia, USA for my PhD in Magnetism. I spent four years there and enjoyed an extra-ordinary time with local culture and friends. From the end of 2016, I have been working as a researcher in the field of physics, material science and engineering in Leuven, Belgium. I love traveling and living in different parts of the world , biking, soccer, hiking, sightseeing/discovering new places.
Being a young researcher in Physics/Engineering, new discoveries excite me and becoming a part of it is my dream. At the same time I very much enjoy baking and experimenting with cooking interesting recipes (always ended up with changing the recipe, not always in the right direction but who cares: journey is the most important), have a very sweet tooth and chocolate addict, also have developed a passion for learning different culture and languages

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want o meet new people, learn about and immerse myself in new cultures, enjoy food and discover new places with the diverse community through out Europe. I especially enjoy travelling with different people and doing outdoor activities which motivate me to join this group where I hope to make new friends while exploring new cultures and travelling places where I have not been yet and share some of stories of my own.
