ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Hassan, and I am Amazigh. I was born and raised in Merzouga, in southern Est of Morocco. I completed my primary education in Merzouga and then pursued my studies in Rissani for college and high school. Later, I attended the University of Errachidia, where I studied French literature.

Currently a tour leader and travel organizer. I speak several languages fluently, including Tamazight (Berber), French, Spanish, Italian, English, and Portuguese. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, biking, and cooking.

PHILOSOPHY

Watching the sunrise or sunset over the sand dunes of Merzouga may be the most spectacular experience I have ever had. The Erg Chebbi dunes are truly impressive, and Merzouga serves as an excellent base for exploring the desert. Bird-watchers will be captivated by the variety of species they can observe. In spring, a lake (Serji) forms near Merzouga, attracting pink flamingos and other rare birds during their migration. The desert is also home to many reptiles and mammals year-round.
