HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sleeping on people's couches, Couchsurfing events, introducing new people and convincing spectators to join in!

I am a very grateful surfer who tries to be a guest in your house, not take a free bed for the night. I am polite and respectful and will try not to poison you with my cooking. I always tidy up after myself, I know how to operate a broom/vacuum cleaner/mop and I don’t spend too long in the shower/bathroom (just long enough to smell nice). I'll be nice to your guests/friends/family/neighbours, and love your cat/dog/kid/plants as if they were my own. I’m available for card games, long chats over good wine and drinking and dancing until late. And I make a mean cup of tea.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

You can travel through a country for weeks and never really learn anything about it, but spend some time with a couch surfing host and it gives you a whole new insight into things the average tourist or traveler misses out on. I have had truly amazing times with CS; people are so friendly, generous and kind. Also genuine, warm-hearted and loads of fun! A smile and a good joke crosses any language barrier!

Interested in most things.
In particular I like CrossFit, traveling, camping, trekking, swimming, sailing, cars/trains/buses, driving and navigating, motorbikes, anything outdoors, humans, animals, languages, learning new stuff, volcanoes, oranges, taking photos, yoga, long train journeys, siestas, getting and (less often) giving a massage, food and eating (especially yummy international stuff), adventure sports, climbing up and jumping off high things, anything I haven't done before, giving/receiving free stuff, and not working.
