ABOUT ME

I love to dance - I regularly dance contra, swing & Argentine Tango. I love to surf, though I'm still a beginner/intermediate. Hawai'i is great for outdoor activities, like biking, hiking, snorkeling, boogie boarding and the like. I help to coordinate a Restorative Medicine Conference, once a year. I'm interested in bettering the world, and am active in grassroots politics.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is wonderful. People truly can make a difference. Choose hope, love and inspiration over fear. Relationships are so vital to our experience, Let's cherish one another. Suffering is related to being attached to something, if we give up these attachments the suffering disappears. Life is a journey to grow and learn.

Helping to spread the word. I've introduced couchsurfing to friends and family who have also had positive experiences. I like meeting and getting to know people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first couchsurfed in the Netherlands and had a great experience. It's a wonderful network, and I'm glad to be a part of it.

Traveled around the world: Netherlands, England, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Japan, China, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand & Hawai'i. Conquered my greatest fear, snakes - by actually holding several, when previously I'd be afraid to touch a rubber snake. Truly shifted my paradigm - after my trip, I moved to Hawai'i.
