ABOUT ME

I'm a college senior studying Audiovisual Communication in Puerto Rico. Currently plan to move to the Continental US to study a MA in film. I have directed two short films and participated in various capacity's in others. I love film and would like to instruct others in how to appreciate the seventh art.

I also love geography. Unfortunately, I discovered it late in my senior year, so I couldn't double major. I would love to work as an Interpreter and I am currently applying for working as a Park Ranger.

Another passion of mine is music. My friends call me the music encyclopedia, capable of identifying a song in 45 seconds or less! There very few genres that I dislike which are: Reguetón (mostly the current stuff, from La Gasolina and on), Bachata, Merengue and Musica Norteña. I play the drums (very badly, I might add) and wants to know how to play bass.

As for traveling, I love it! I wish I had the resources to travel more, but eventually I would be able to travel the world for at least 6 months! Until then, short trips are gonna be the norm for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: While I listen to a lot of genres and artists, my favorites are Beastie Boys, Beck, Animal Collective, Panda Bear, Radiohead, Talking Heads, Pavement, The White Stripes.
Movies: As in music, I watch any type of movie imaginable. My favs are: The Three Colors Trilogy, Yi Yi, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, The Social Network, Brazil, Apocalypse Now, M, The Hurt Locker, Being John Malkovich.
Books: 1984, Areas of my Expertise, Wide Sargasso Sea, Almost Transparent Blue

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have eaten a whole box of Krispy Kreme donuts, which I don't know if it is amazing or just plain stupid.

I wrote, directed and edited a 5 minute film. Sometimes you can't believe you accomplished something, until after the fact!
