About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world

ABOUT ME

I'm at that stage in my life that a majority of people go through, the desire to travel. In recent years that desire has consumed me to the point where I am planning my next adventure whilst on the plane home from another. I left a 'proper' job to see what this planet has to offer. After a 6 month trip to the US followed by another 6 months at home saving money I am ready for my next venture with Europe in my sights.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like everyone else probably says i want to meet new people and experience different cultures. I know it sounds cliche but isn't that the whole reasoning behind couch surfing haha. I've found that traveling the hostel way I don't get the most out of a city. Sure i meet a lot of travellers on my way but not many of the locals who are the people you want to come across.

Interests

Anything adventurous including slack lining, rock climbing, canyoning etc. but at the same time and chill out under the stars playing some classic acoustic guitar.
I'm also an avid reader who has the wild dream of one day writing my own novel... not for a while though.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music changes with the situation i'm in and varies from acoustic all the way to metal, for which i used to be in a band. I'm open to all genres and sub genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working at a summer camp in America for the past two years has truly been an inspiring and life changing event. I discovered things about myself I never saw before and has changed my outlook on a lot of things in life. It is a challenging but also rewarding experience that few words can describe and would encourage anyone who hasn't done it before to go ahead and give it a go.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hands to cook/clean, a mouth to converse, and ears to listen.

When I am eventually back at home I can hopefully offer a couch to stay if not that I can definitely give an in depth tour of the Blue mountains which has been tried and tested on many a foreigner with nothing but good reviews all round.

Countries I’ve Visited

Mexico, New Zealand, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia
