I love to explore! Observing andexperiencing the natural world, creating and viewing art, along with learning and teaching are some of my passions in life. These interests where nurtured by the American Youth Foundation at camp Miniwancain Michigan. Focused on leadership, balanced living an own self the AYF helped me understand the importance of community. As a student I enjoyed the technical parts of science and the mystery that is ever so present when you start asking the “why” questions. While attending Hanover College I choose to double major in Philosophy and Geology. The school supported my endeavors to travel abroad at least once a year. I investigated the connections among people, their natural environments, and the inevitable changes of the world.
