About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Simon and I want to explore the world and meet new charakters and build bridges to other cultures - Thats why we travel around the world for 6 months!
ABOUT US
We are friendly, considerate people, easy to convince for new adventures. We love music and nature.
While finishing my bachelor thesis we are planning a world trip (with my soon to be husband Simon). The travel fever catched us again and we seek on healing it :)
Travel route:
Cuba - Mexico - Costa Rica - USA (National Parks, San Francisco) - Hawaii - Fiji - New Zealand - Australia - India - Singapore - Thailand - back home
One of the higlight on the trip will be the traditional Indian wedding of Simons brother. Another highlight is that I plan on seeing my guest family in Australia after 8 years"!
We hope to make amazing experiences and to meet as many locals as possible, to get a glance at their way of living live.
In 2016 I had the chance to live in Barcelona, Spain for three months. It was an amazing experience concerning culture, food, work and music.
I made such good experiences while travelling in Oz and NZ in 2008/2009 that I want to do more travelling and meeting amazing people! And couchsurfing sounds so promising to meet other people who like travelling as well.
I am a lot laughing-, joking- and smiling- person and I am open for new experiences. I respect privacy and I am relly interested in your life! (applies to both of us) Having a roof over our head and getting the chance to see how other people like to live is tempting to us, but we can also be very independent and try to not make to much work for our hosts.
My hobby is gliding (planes without engine) so I spend a lot of time on the gliding club as long as I am home and not stydying...
I love animals and have a cat named Cleo.
We like swimming, riding the bike, reading books and of course playing and listening to music!
I just started to learn how to play a guitar cause I want to perform a christmas song for my granny. I succeeded doing so in 2011.
In the next few years we want to see more of the world and it´s lovely and amazing people!
PHILOSOPHY
I can be a rather quiet and thoughtful person, but can be very excited and happy, making jokes, too. I am easy to get along with and like people that are respectful and friendly, like myself.
My motto: Don´t dream your life, live your dreams!
Respect the people around you and they will respect you"!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Mostly I made good couchsurfing experiences. Having the chance on helping people with a bed or a couch which is vacant anyway seems a good way to contibute to the travel community. In addition to that I like showing our special local places to guests. Because I know how different your travel experience can be, when you have a local showing you around or giving you hints about where the best places are.
Also I am a student and now how it feels to have little money and how appreciated it can be to provide a warm place for the night.
Its very nice to be both host and traveller, so I know both sides and like to share good experiences to not loose faith in humanity.
Interests
Friends - especially spending non learning time with them. My interest are coffee (not only drinking, but preparing and grinding beans and experimenting), books, music, sports and gliding. But apparently I am quite busy with my studies at the moment, so there is not much time to spend on free time activities.
Thats why we decided to travel the world after I have finished my thesis.

Music, Movies, and Books
Jo Nesbo is one of my favourite authors. And JRR Tolkien ;)
I love all types of music, so in that matter I am quite diverse, rock, a little bit of metal (when I am in the mood), soul, classic and much more. I am always open to new kind of music and books. Do you know Rock´n´Heim or Rock am Ring? These are music festivals that I discovered for myself. I loved it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most amazing...well maybe seeing my hostmum killing the seccond venomous snake in the world, wearing pink gumboots of a friend of hers... =)
I also recall the first flight in my whole life were I was all alone soaring and exploring the new free world around and ahead of me.
