About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To create a blazing trend of self-love through all of humanity!

ABOUT ME

Burning man is one of my favorite places on this earth!

I am constantly on the go and have a wide variety of interests. Traveling feeds my need for adventure and thrills. I am passionate about working with and teaching people. I get energized by social situations. I am blessed to have a beautiful, loving and supportive family. We visit each other several times a year, but in between I do find myself missing them dearly. I believe open communication is the key to life. Independence is important to me.

PHILOSOPHY

We are always surrounded by love. Whatever you have done or not done, you are worthy of love!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will forever use couch surfing as my means of travel. There is no better way to get to know a place than through the hearts of those who live there. I am surfed, hosted and enjoyed traveling with fellow couch surfers. This has opened my eyes to a whole new world of people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surfing experience was in Thessaloniki, Greece with Nasta, who has been crowned Queen of couch surfing! I never would have been able to experience Greece the way I had if it were not for CS. I had the opportunity to eat Mousakka with her Grandparents, get a hair cut from her mother, and learn badgammon from her grandpa. How many people can say they had that intimate of an experience without going through CS?

Interests

Theater, mt. biking, hiking, swimming, rafting, traveling, sign language, reading, learning, nordic and apline skiing, snowboarding, cooking, teaching, museums, art, road trips, dancing, concerts and much more.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most any live music (with the exception of rap, heavy metal or screaming music) including, but not limited to reggae, blue grass, jam, acoustic and Dave Matthews.
I like movies that move me, The War, Dead Poet's Society, The Other Sister, Patch Adams etc. It is also interesting b/c I tend to like movies that have people with disabilities in them - b/c working with special populations is my passion.
I enjoy studying universal law.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the honor of teaching a 20 year old soldier how to snowboard again after his left leg was amputated by a land mine. Since he lost his leg, he had done nothing that brought him as much joy as sliding down the mountain on his own power.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Honduras, Hungary, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Romania, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
