About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meeting people with ideas visions dreams

ABOUT ME

I'm interested in life. Everything that makes me feel alive. Music, people, travelling, sleeping (surprising?), art, playing piano/guitar, reading,... the list goes on.I can be a bit lazy sometimes, have lot's of energy other times.I've studied fine art, and worked the last couple of years as a webdesigner mainly. I'm interested in everything creative.I used to speak, now I try to listen to people. I'm interested in all the different ways we live our life.

PHILOSOPHY

I think I'm quite eastern minded. I find alot of value in TAO and in Buddhism.I've read several books about it: I Tjing (book of changes), Tswang Tse, Lao Tse, Sun Tsu, ...Not an expert, but certainly interestedJung has also been a great influence to me. You could say, I'm a wholistic thinker. I connect everything with everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Had a great couchsurfing experience in Berlin! Looking forward for more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had a couchsurfer one time, a musician who traveled one year around belgium by bike, going from couch to couch. Great experience, very talented and warm guy. Was a real pleasure of having him over to stay with us.
I think couchsurfing back then was only just starting to come up.

I went couchsurfing in Berlin in spring 2012 and it was great. Met a lot of inspiring people!

Interests

playing guitar, playing piano, cycling, painting, designing, (song)writing, meeting strangers, or connecting strangers with each other, drawing, painting, have a drink, have another drink, leaving, coming back, music concerts, movies, skiing, (ice)skating, ...

oh, and sleeping. I like to sleep.

I really have a broad range of interests; you can find books like "Permaculture, principles and pathways beyond sustainability, by David Holmgren, next to "the book of symbols" (Tashen) on my shelf. "The upside of down" by Thomas Homer Dixon, next to a couple of 'the Idler' issues (Tom Hodgkinson). Surrounded by books by authors like Paul Auster, Dostojewski, David Mitchell, John Irving, well, as I said before, the list goes on and on.
