ABOUT ME
I am English and my wife is Swedish. Travelling has been our life since the day we met, 23 years ago in India. Working hard in Europe, saving money, travelling to far off places until the money runs out, then back to Europe to save for the next trip. But after our last 18 month tour around Asia and Central/South America back in 2008 we settled down in Sweden and started a family. Even though our lives took a different course, we still haven't lost the desire to travel. We want to show our daughters as much of this amazing world we live in as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Discovered the whole hosting thing during our last trip, staying with some very interesting and exciting people from all over the world. Now it is our turn to return the favour. Unfortunately we have currently no space to host but hope to start again when we have a bigger place.

Centres d'intérêt

Chris: I love to DJ, hiking, extreme sports (when possible), playing pool, chess, backgammon, computer games, relax and watch a movie or a good documentary. But most of all i love to travel, see new places, meeting new people and trying new things.

Matilda: Hiking, kickboxing, painting, reading, cooking and baking but most of all travelling.

Movies
Chris: Would watch anything but enjoy mostly the films that make you think.
Matilda: Action & thrillers.

Music
Chris: Would listen to almost anything but the music that gets me dancing is drum 'n' bass / jungle, trance, hard or funky house, hip-hop, breakbeat and basically anything with a funky beat.
Matilda: Likes all styles but mostly hip-hop and rock.

Books
Chris: Admittedly i don't read much but when i start a good real life story i can't put it down.
Matilda: Thrillers with a twist.
