About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Settling in to London over summer 2015 - sixth new city in the past twelve years, lets see if I've gotten any good at this...
ABOUT ME
I've just moved to London - now I get to find out all the interesting things to know after years of visiting for weekends - the only challenge will be finding time to do it all!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I know quite a bit about Dublin from living here a while back and I'm willing to show people about or come along with them to discover new things in the city.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've heard lots of good stories from pals who've couch-surfed even out to far distant places like Togo and the Mauritius. It sounds like a good thing to be involved in.
Interests
I like travelling, meeting people. I have ambitions to be a writer and I'm working on getting drafts good enough to publish. I love current events.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lying on a beach with no light pollution and sudden vertigo made it feel like I was suspended from the ground - that down was up and I could fall from the earth, down into the sky full of stars. I suddenly felt just how big space is and how small we all are on our tiny spec of rock.
Teach, Learn, Share
My French is ok, I would like it to be a lot better - so any opportunity to talk in French is welcome, particularly to talk about new things to expand vocabulary.
I've lived in five countries on three continents, ask me about getting through culture shock and getting comfortable in a new location.
