ABOUT ME

I find travelling to be one of life's generous gifts. It provides a break from the rat race to slow down and have time for your brain to switch tracks. I can broaden my mind to different foods, new people and do something I've never done before. It's amazing to come back with a refreshed outlook, new appreciation for what you have and diversity of the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I have been told that if I can count my good friends on one hand I'm the luckiest person in the world. Also that I may never be rich but I can take it upon myself to always enjoy what I eat. Those two and never taking my health for granted.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just signed up and looking to try my first couchsurfing experiences with my friend Bianca. We are planning a great US trip in AZ, NV, UT and CA. As we are both new we want to make a special effort with the exchange aspect of the project and look forward to it being a part of our travels.

Interests

I have a foundation of knowledge in auto and bicycle mechanics which I am proud of because it has helped me develop into a more practical and independent person. A few years when I started driving I didn't know my car had a spare tire and now I could change my own oil.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a really good autobiography, especially the audiobook version in the car. I think I've just about read every rock star's diary and every comedian's memoirs. My guilty pleasures are Nu-Metal or rap metal of the alternative metal persuasion. The movies and music I most enjoy give me a nostalgic feeling like 90s action heros and hit songs of the early 2000s.
