Hi, I am Heather from China. I am easygoing and always seeking interesting experiences. I love solo travel and meeting and staying with the people in that place. For me, the most attractive part of travel is the connection and interaction with different people. I'm passionate about stories and local/different cultures. Travelling is a journey to create and collect different stories!!

Some information about myself. I am from southern China, a local Cantonese. Currently living in Liverpool, UK. (Yeah, the city of the Beatles!!). Heading back to Asia to have a long holiday before I start my job in September.

Love travel, love sea, and love dogs and cats~ I love to have a walk in the city/town, go to the pub to get a cocktail and talk, go hiking to hug nature, and look for some good food in some historic restaurants, playing boardgame, singing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

On Couchsurfing, I can have more chances to know and make friends with people from different countries.

I have used Couchsurfing to travel to 4 countries now. And I have met many people through Couchsurfing, some of them were the locals of the places, and some of them were travellers from other countries. Their different cultures, different backgrounds, different lifestyles, different attitudes to life. All of these inspired me and help me to be myself.

It was just so fun meeting different people on the trip, very exciting and cool. Couchsurfing made my trips valuable and impressive.

Music!!! Music is my everything.
I like all kinds of music, especially Cantopop, J-Pop, R&B, Jazz.
I love singing so much and we can sing together if you like to do that. Try busking in the public is on my to-do list all the time.

Movie/TV
Well, I like anime, such as Demon Slayer, One Piece, Attack on Titan, and Jujutsu Kaisen. And I have been a One Piece fan for 13 years, Awwwww!!!
I like thrillers and crime series as well, like, black mirror, squid game, money heist, Killing Eve, and Sherlock. Currently watching The Bear.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my 20ish, I organized a global volunteer project, which was about environmental protection. The projects ran for 6 months, and there were 3 global volunteers and 20 local volunteers who joined us. We hosted 2 big events in the local city.
Thb, I was not satisfied with the project result. Therefore, in the same year, I travelled to Russia to be a global volunteer myself in an Eco-Future project, aimed to learn something different and have a reflection on organizing environmental protection projects.

---I played 7 different roller coasters in three hours in the UK with my friend, and we're still alive.
