I'm in my final undergrad semester in the International Development Studies program at the University of Toronto, and am starting grad school in September. I want to squeeze in as much traveling as I can before starting school again in the fall.

I lived in Vietnam for a year, and traveled around Asia while I was there. Before that, I had spent 5 weeks studying/traveling in Australia, and have since fallen in love with the freedom of backpacking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want a more personalized experience while traveling. When I was traveling through Asia and Australia, I only ever stayed in hostels so I missed out on the "local" experience. I want an inside look at the places where I'm staying, and be able to have a chance to connect with people who also love traveling.
