About Me

I am an open minded, easy going, friendly and optimistic person. I care alot about the world. Nature & People.

I have been a full time musician and published song writer, for the last 20 years and have toured and traveled quite alot, with lots of stories to tell. :)
I own a 1975 Campervan and pretty much go everywhere in SA with her, road-tripping is my lifestyle! :) Alhough I'm a social person and love havin good times, I also love the stillness of quiet!

I have a deep love for animals, nature, open fires, real food, real people, real good coffee and laughter !! :)

My friend Michelle and I live in George, near Wilderness, (20min drive) and 5 hours from Cape Town and when our schedule allows, we offer a room and double bed with a shared bathroom for couch-surfers coming to our area. Here you will find a home away from home ;)

When I travel overseas and love meeting people through Couchsurfing

I love natural foods, cooking and baking and often leave the places we visit cleaner than we found them! :)

UPDATE: We have been offering a room in our house in South Africa for the last few years, but it is currently unavailable as I am spending time in Scotland for the next few months and I will be looking for a couch surf stay/meet ups there! Look forward to meeting you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its a great way of meeting people! I have been blessed with amazing places to stay on my own travels and know the importance of having this comfort of a reliable and safe place to stay while on the road and would like to offer that to other travelers. We live on the Garden Route which is one of the most beautiful parts of South Africa and also the beginning of the most epic part of the coastline leading up to the Transkei and Durban - it would just be wrong to not share this beautiful place with other couchsurfers while they are exploring our country ;)

When I travel I find couchsurfing to be the most down-to-earth way to travel and i Love it!
