I decided to join couchsurfing because I love to meet new people and share stories and get to know an area from a locals perspective. Making friends in new areas is one of the best things about traveling! Getting the insider scoop on where to find the best local beer and food is always a plus too! I'm always excited to see what kind of adventures I can get myself into! I also think it's really amazing that people open their homes and welcome like-minded travelers!

I love all kinds of music except for country and heavy metal. You'll usually find me listening to Bon Iver, Lord Huron, Passenger, Frank Sinatra, Chopin, Debussy, Johnny Hartman, Iron & Wine, Twenty One Pilots, The Hand and the Heart, The White Stripes, The Killers, AWOLNATION, alt-j, The Neighborhood, and the list goes on and on!

I love watching movies! I'm really into documentaries and comedies. I also like animation and action flicks too! Some of my favorites are How to Train Your Dragon, Napoleon Dynamite, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Hobbit Series, Harry Potter, Wreck It Ralph, Zombieland, About Time, Dive!, and a million others!

Reading is something that I love to do to relax! My taste in books is all over the place like with music and movies so I can't really pinpoint a favorite author except that I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan! JK Rowling's other books are wonderful too! I just recently finished All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. Great book! I'll pretty much read anything so if you have any suggestions for me then I'd be happy to check them out!
