Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
One of the most memorable moments in my life is standing in front of the site of a massacre in El Mozote, El Salvador. It had been transformed into a beautiful garden full of elegant flowers, but surrounded by walls filled with the names of those killed.
The second moment that comes to mind is looking out from the mountain side in Kamakura, Japan - the first place I visited in Japan - after walking past dozens of beautiful religious shrines and temples. Looking out onto the mountains and the Pacific Ocean was one of the most calming and beautiful things I've ever seen.
