ABOUT ME
Happy-go-lucky Canadian girl who loves to travel and meet new people. Currently living in Beijing, China with my partner James, teaching grade 2 at an international school. I'm always looking to use my French, alors si vous êtes francophone et vous voudriez voir la Chine... all are welcome!
PHILOSOPHY
Don't take life too seriously, you'll never get out of it alive. haha I like staying positive, enjoying and appreciating life, and making the best of stuff. Just have fun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My partner James and I currently have a spare bedroom with a double bed that we are happy to open up for fellow travelers. We'll also be looking to meet new people and possibly same some cash by surfing during our next few adventures!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have dabbled in the couchsurfing community on and off over the years, mostly having people come visit or meeting up for coffee. I only ever couched surfed once, (in Stockholm) but it was an amazing time and I wish I had discovered it at the beginning of my year in Europe, rather than right at the end. Better late than never, I always say.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's hard to pick a specific thing, so I'll keep it general; Living abroad. It's the greatest thing I've found in life so far. Living somewhere new and exciting, discovering the language and culture exploring the area and expanding on the experience.. it's an amazing feeling. Nothing can top the year I spent in France (seeing Europe) and the time I've spent here in Korea learning about Asia. It's the travelbug-drug.
