ABOUT ME

I am a recent university graduate with a Bachelor in Kinesiology. I grew up in Scarborough, Ontario a suburb of Toronto. I am short, laid back girl who loves to travel and explore the world. I am Christian and also enjoy being exposed to other religions and different cultures. I can be a beach bum but am a city girl at heart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel and I love learning about other cultures and I feel by joining the CS community I am contributing to this project by surfing while in Europe, sharing my experiences, and hosting later on.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time couchsurfing. I heard about it through a friend and thought it would be an amazing opportunity to experience throughout my travels.

Interests

I am very atheletic and enjoy playing almost any sport. I have played soccer for in leagues for 10 years and now play soccer, volleyball, and ball hockey recreationally. I enjoy traveling and experiencing the root of many cultures as I have been to Australia, Japan, all over the Carribean and to Guatemala. I also enjoy camping and nature in general.

Music, Movies, and Books

I left my iPod at home but it is loaded with old school reggae, mixed with hard and classic rock with Cuban classics as well. Music can make me smile and turn everything around in a single moment.
I love comedy and horror movies the most but I like anything with action too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I`ve been cayoning in the Dominican Republic, climbed a mountain in Guatemala, went bungee jumping and scuba diving in Australia and I am open to particpating in other extreme sport activities. I love the architecture throughout Europe I have seen so far and look forward to seeing more.

Teach, Learn, Share

My first language is English but I am lacking in my other languages and would love to improve my basic French, Spanish and German. I study the human body and hope to become a physiotherapist in the future so I love to share my knowledge on exercise, rehab, and athletics in general.
