About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Rediscovering New Orleans

ABOUT ME

â

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that my life is only important in how I impact others and the world. We are all part of an infinite connection, and without that, nothing. This reminds me to be kind, caring, and open minded so others can impact me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

with an honest heart and an open mind.

also, with plans to make a beautiful home when I return to the states, with a very cozy couch or two.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed with friends before, both hosting in New Orleans and surfing in Texas, and Thailand. All experiences have been wonderful and I've met some really unique people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Female jazz vocalists make me swoon. In love with Asa, Madeleine Peyroux, Nina Simone, Ella. Anything folky with some good harmony and some soul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Google 'sun dog'.

I was researching images in a 14th century Buddhist temple in Ladakh, on top of a mountain in the middle of mountains when I stepped outside and saw three sun dogs in the sky, framed by the temples prayer flags flapping in the breeze.

That sentence just doesn't seem like my life but, somehow, it is.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to swim, Irish step dance, play the flute, and draw. So many adults feel like art is inaccessible to them, so I woud love to teach you how it's not.

I'd love to learn a new language, local cooking, and any creative traditions (I studied miniature painting in India and loved it).

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Canada, China, France, India, Laos, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
