Hello, hello :) I'm Heather, I'm from Scotland and am currently living in France, teaching english as a language assistant in two local high schools.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I. Love. Travelling.

I would love to see more of the world, and in particular France. From previous experience I know the benefit of staying with a local. To truly appreciate a place you need to see it through the eyes of local.

I love, love, love meeting new people, discovering different cultures and trying new things. I believe couchsurfing is the best way to do all three!

Interests

Pick a sport and chances are I'll love it!
Music...same.
Food...same again (but then again who doesn't love trying new dishes!)

I play the piano and am currently teaching myself the guitar. I do a sport called netball (which is a little like basketball, but doesn't exist in as many countries) and I run.

I teach english on a daily basis so I'd be happy to help you with pronunciation and speaking practice. Happy to share all I know about the language :)

While travelling in France I would love to experience daily life and the culture of the different parts of the country, all the while improving my french.
