About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See NYC!

ABOUT ME

I moved to Vancouver from Northern Ontario on a whim in October of 2008. I have had a fantastic time working meaningless jobs and dancing all the time but am itching to get traveling. Because I've seen a lot of Canada already (well, the populated bits anyways) I will probably try to use this site to land on couches in the US and Europe.
I currently work at a photography school/studio, but am not pursuing a career in photography. Instead I've been appointed with the more riveting tasks of answering phones, emails, photocopying, and making coffee.
I'm currently trying to finish what must be the World's Longest Bachelor of Arts in history. I have no idea how this will come in useful in the future, save for knowing obscure facts and possibly winning at trivial pursuit or something. The future is bright!
I'm an easy going, generally happy, and usually sarcastic person.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to have as much fun as I possibly can while I am still young enough to enjoy sleeping on couches.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only actually used this site once. A friend and I stayed in San Fransisco for a few days last September. It was amazing, the guys were lovely, and went above and beyond my expectations...Taking us on city tours, to beautiful beaches.. It was great! I'll try my best to offer as positive an experience to guests.

Interests

Books, music, dancing, Little Britain, photography, nail polish, Lord of the Rings, clothes, thrift stores, tea, staying out all night and sleeping all day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best thing I've ever done for myself was buying a bus ticket from Thunder Bay to Calgary and then hitchiking from there to Vancouver. I learned more in those few months than 2 years of University.
