Hello from Canada! I'm just trying to figure things out. It's a work in progress! Every time I travel I feel like I learn so much more about world around me and how I might fit into it. Actually, my favourite part of heading somewhere new is the people I meet along the way and all the stories and perspectives we can share with each other!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing back in 2018 when I discovered it, but haven't thought much about it until now (2025)! I've travelled a bit in the last year and love to meet people from different walks of life! I always find that people are much more kind and generous than you might expect. I want to keep meeting kind people who might have a story to share or even just a laugh. I hope in the future I can also repay kindnesses by hosting myself!

Currently reading: Empire of Pain by Patrick Radden Keefe... such a devastating eye-opener to behind-the-scenes of the opioid crisis. Also recently read Travels by Michael Chrichton which I loved and I think any avid traveller would thoroughly enjoy!
Movies: Call Me By Your Name, Anora, Breakfast at Tiffanys, Garden State, Atomic Blonde are a few favs
Music: One of my favourite artists is Dev Hynes, also known as Blood Orange. Recently, I've been listening to 70s Czech music and ambient soundscapes.
