CURRENT MISSION

Keep moving! I love to travel and spontaneously make the most of my life. I'm currently visiting my friend in Indiana and then moving on to work in New York for two weeks before returning to my home in Oregon.

I'm just a nice, friendly, earth-lovin, adventurous gal seeking inspiration, taking opportunities, and doing my best to be good to those I interact with.

PHILOSOPHY

I live in the moment. I take chances and trust that most people are good an honest. I believe in creating the existence and experiences I want to have. I work hard to play hard. I'm a minimalist and do not cling to material things or money. I thrive best close to nature. I do into others as I'd do for myself. I am kind, grateful, and caring and expect to attract those qualities in return.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been shown the kindness of strangers for years through hitch hiking, traveling and talking with people on trains , planes, in passing..I was taken care of generously by many "trail angels" while hiking 2700 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail last year . I would love to continue experiencing this genuine kind of interaction and caring exchanges by both staying with folks around the world, and also helping wherever possible. As I am able I will host travelers in need of a place to rest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never used couchsurfer.org before but have heard it's great and have lots if experience house-sitting, taking care of pets, camping in yards, on couches, and hosting friends and acquaintances.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I walked from Mexico to Canada last year through the deserts as the mountains on the PCT eventually ending my trip with a 180-mile snowshoe trek.

I am an experienced backpacker and outdoors woman . Can I answer questions you might have about long distance hiking or a recreational interest? I am creative and willing to participate in all kinds of projects/activities. I am also a decent writer. Do you need help editing something or working on a resume, article, book or profile? I love board games, going for walks, laughing, sharing a meal or a glass of wine. Maybe you'd like a friendly companion for the evening.
