About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Looking to meet people and maybe stay in Indianapolis some weeknights
ABOUT ME
I just started an AmeriCorps VISTA(Volunteers in Service to America) with Exodus Refugee in Indianapolis. I am passionate about life, social justice, and ending poverty. I want to travel all over, learn about other cultures and help my fellow humanity! I believe love and compassion are key, as well as optimism, learning and growth, balance, and self-awareness.
PHILOSOPHY
Live life to the fullest. Live life for others. Never stop dreaming.
Interests
I am an avid volunteer, reader, traveler. I love adventure and trying new things! I love art, food, dancing, music, good deep conversation, and being outdoors. I majored in International Politics at Ball State so I am really interested in what is going on in the world and love a good-natured debate.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I love to explore urban areas! You can see or learn something new each time you just wander. But I also love nature and am awestruck when I just sit in silence on a mountain or near an ocean.
One of the most life-changing moments for me was a service trip to Galveston, Texas where a group of us gutted and cleaned out a house that had been hit by Hurricane Ike. Seeing all the wreckage of the person's life was devastating, but accomplishing this task within a week was mind-blowing!
Starting my position at Exodus Refugee Immigration just a few months after graduating is probably my proudest achievement. I love this organization and can't wait to see the impact I can have over the next year!
