Soy venezolana y amo profundamente a mi país el cual he recorrido prácticamente todo.
Se me hace fácil entablar una conversación con cualquier persona independientemente de la edad, sexo e incluso si no le conozco con anterioridad. Me agrada hacer nuevas amistades y conocer lugares, costumbres y tradiciones.
Entre mis sueños, el viajar siempre ha ocupado un lugar primordial. Sin embargo mi gran sueño fue estudiar Medicina y eso ameritó que dedicara gran parte de mi adolescencia y juventud, primero a tener buenas calificaciones para ingresar a la Escuela de Medicina, luego a dedicarme cien por ciento a obtener mi título de médico (los estudios en esta carrera son muy absorbentes), posteriormente hice el post grado en Ginecología y Obstetricia (una de las más hermosas especialidades, ¡es maravilloso ayudar a que un nuevo ser venga a este mundo!). Sólo después de terminar mi formación profesional, la cual confieso no se termina nunca, empecé a ser realidad mi sueño de viajar y por esa razón viaje a Sao Paulo- Brasil con tres finalidades prioritarias: continuar mis estudios en Ginecología, aprender Portugués y a bailar samba. Así un 3 de enero hice mi primer viaje al exterior, sola, sin saber decir ni buenos días en Portugués y tan sólo llevando el nombre de un hotel que me recomendaron para pasar la primera noche y de una posada para llegar los primeros días, pero en ninguno de los dos había hecho reservaciones. Comenzó mi estadía en ese fabuloso país donde viví por año y medio, que es una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida, conocí personas maravillosas no sólo brasileñas sino también chilenas, argentinas, colombianas, bolivianas e incluso compatriotas; deguste sus platos típicos, disfrute de su música y pude conocer otras ciudades como Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Belo Horizonte, Ouro Preto, Diamantina y algunos otras poblaciones del Estado de Sao Paulo.
Retorné a mi país y me avoque a desarrollar mi actividad profesional a nivel público y privado simultáneamente empecé como docente en la Universidad que me formó. Durante esos años decidí conocer mejor mi país antes de volver a viajar al exterior y solamente visité Colombia (el país hermano y más cercano) teniendo la oportunidad de ir a Cúcuta, Pamplona en un primer viaje y luego a Barranquilla, Santa Marta, Cartagena y Medellín. Mis obligaciones profesionales y familiares no me permitieron volver a salir y sólo en el 2011 pude ir a Buenos Aires durante tres días.
En este “momento del campeonato de mi vida”, hablando en términos beisboleros, he decidido reiniciar ese sueño de viajar y conocer otros países, es una de las metas que escribí el primer día de este año y tengo pensado comenzar a hacerlo en el mes de Mayo, cuando visitaré Bogotá.
Disfruto leer un buen libro, tomar una taza de café recién colado, admirar un paisaje, el amanecer y los atardeceres, del trinar de las aves y deleitarme con la belleza de sus plumajes, una amena charla, jugar bolas criollas o bochas como le dicen en otros lares, me fascina bailar y cantar aunque no tengo buena voz, ver un partido de béisbol, básquet o fútbol, acostarme en un chinchorro o hamaca, oír música, mis llanuras y sabanas, campanear un buen escoses en las rocas o tomar una cerveza muy fría cuando hace calor, no soy vegetariana pero aprecio algunos platos y como bastantes vegetales.

Among my dreams, traveling has always occupied a primordial place. However, my great dream was to study Medicine and that merited that I dedicated a large part of my adolescence and youth first to have good qualifications to enter the School of Medicine, then to dedicate myself one hundred percent to obtain my medical degree (studies in this career are very absorbing), later I did the postgraduate degree in Gynecology and Obstetrics (one of the most beautiful specialties, it is wonderful to help a new being come to this world!). Only after finishing my professional training, which I confess is never finished, I began to realize my dream of traveling and for that reason I traveled to Sao Paulo-Brazil with three priority goals: continue my studies in Gynecology, learn Portuguese and dance samba. So on January 3 I made my first trip abroad, alone, not knowing how to say good morning in Portuguese and just taking the name of a hotel that I was recommended to spend the first night and a hostel to get the first days, but in neither of them had he made reservations. I began my stay in that fabulous country where I lived for a year and a half, one of the best experiences of my life, I met wonderful people not only Brazilian but also Chilean, Argentine, Colombian, Bolivian and even compatriots; Taste their typical dishes, enjoy their music and I could meet other cities such as Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Belo Horizonte, Ouro Preto, Diamantina and some other towns of the State of Sao Paulo.
I returned to my country and I decided to develop my professional activity at public and private level and simultaneously I began as a teacher at the University that formed me. During those years I decided to get to know my country better before traveling again and I only visited Colombia (the sister and closest country) having the opportunity to go to Cúcuta, Pamplona on a first trip and then to Barranquilla, Santa Marta, Cartagena and Medellín. My professional and family obligations did not allow me to travel abroad and only in 2011 I was able to return to Buenos Aires on that occasion for three days.
In this "moment of the championship of my life", speaking in baseball terms, I have decided to restart that dream of traveling and getting to know other countries is one of the goals that I wrote the first day of this year and I plan to start doing it in the month of May, when I will visit Bogotá.
I enjoy reading a good book, having a cup of freshly brewed coffee, admiring a landscape, the dawn and the sunsets, the song of the birds and delighting with the beauty of their plumage, a pleasant chat, playing criollas balls or bochas as they say in other places, I love to dance and sing although I do not have a good voice, watch a game of baseball, basketball or football, lie down in a chinchorro or hammock, listen to music, my plains and countryside, drink a good scotch on the rocks or a very cold beer when it's hot, I'm not vegetarian but I appreciate some dishes and like enough vegetables.

Hace muchos años una paciente acudió a la consulta manifestando que estaba embarazada y deseaba interrumpir ese embarazo incipiente, la escuche y luego le dije que Dios la había bendecido con ese hijo y que él la había escogido para ser su madre, le ofrecí todo mi apoyo si lo dejaba nacer, pero si persistía en abortar respetaba su opinión pero no la podía ayudar;al final decidió continuar el embarazo, nació un niño hermoso, el más amoroso de sus hijos y hoy en día es un hombre de bien. Dios puso las palabras correctas en mi boca.
