About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I must keep remembering myself that the world is sooo big

ABOUT ME

We, the people from Aragon, have the reputation of being kind of hard-headed amongst spaniards. I´m sure my friends would describe me that way to mock me. They are sooo hard-headed, by the way!
I consider myself to be a humanist, which is kind of naif thinking in the world we are living nowadays. I studied History and fell in love with the Mare Nostrum. I believe travelling as an obligation to achieve personal growth, but hate to be a tourist. My curiosity and my beliefs made me think this is really the way to move around.

PHILOSOPHY

Still learning from the greatests!. Maybe... music is the best!
I am an open minded person and I love the feelng you get when you´re travelling. You kind of "in tune"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I learned about the web from a friend and co-worker. Then I realised it was the way to really get in touch with the places

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

My two dearest interests are Music and Greece, in an abstract sense, since anything related to them grabs quickly my attention. In a concrete sense, I feel drawn towards books, as an object. I love how the paper smells when you first open it and the atmosphere they create when you are surrounded by shelves filled with their pages. Lately I have been drawn to photography (maybe because I cannot draw at all!).Love the developing chemical proccess as well!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Polanski a lot. Also Werner Herzog´s documentaries.
Many styles of music: Frank Zappa, Mano Negra, Juan Perro, Primus,Lou Reed, Morphine, Judas Priest, Bobby McFerrin, Scriabin,...
I love ancient literature & mithologies. Currently reading Jan Potocki´s Manuscript found in Saragossa

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

little things are frequently the most surprising: two weeks ago I was teaching little Isabel (age 4) how to write. Told her to copy, to handwrite, the word "monkey" and she wrote "yeknom" as fast as she could. When I told her it was not correct, she couldn´t understand why.
Last year I discovered the music and philosophy of one Frank Zappa. He is pure genius, not just his dazzling music & sound quality, but his life project as well. His whole persona really hit me in the face.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Netherlands
