About Me

I live Istanbul and I'm studying in Düzce, Turkey

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can't be another person with a different culture but I can meet people with different cultures and I can learn from them.

Interests

When I was a high school student, I always watched the videos of travelers. I couldn't help watching them. After it, I understood that I can't live in a city and make all the days like the others. *Travelling is the reason of my life.

I love reading books*especially French literature*this is one of the reasons why I want to learn French.

I love seeing new places, meeting new people.

I love listening other people's opinions about anything** maybe about their government, maybe about what affects well/bad them, maybe about..... Much more *I really, really love listening.

Of course, I love talking about EVERYTHING *but less than listening* I love talking about cultures, customs, people, I love talking about everything that is interesting for me. *I'm not a talkative person, I love talking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening almost all types of music.

Music: Chopin, Secre Garden, Mohsen Namjoo, Edith Piaf, Sertab Erener, Sezen Aksu, Sıla, Emircan İğrek, Duman, Yaşlı Amca

and I cannot lie, I really love listening Ariana Grande *_*

The book that affected me the most is Madam Bovary.
My favorite movie is Truman Show.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There was a cafe that's built as in the shape of balloon in Düzce. I went there and there were around 8 people. A woman there was singing and the old man was next to her, listening and singing. There were also a guy with a Saz ( Turkish taditional instrument). I was listening them and I was so shocked by their performance because it was the definition of perfection. By doing so, everyone in the place was singing lower. I started to sing lower as I was drinking my coffee, too. Then they suddenly lowered they voice and after the song is finished, the guy with the guitar asked me to sing because he said I hear a sweet voice coming from there and he guessed it's me. They all stopped and waited for me to sing and even some people told me okay, we're turning back so that you can sing and they enjoyed. They asked me to choose one song and they were going to play and I was going to sing. Then I chose and he started playing the song. There were silence but my voice. And after I finished, there was a huge loud of applause. The woman took the guitar asked me to come near her. I went and she started playing many songs I knew and I sang. She took my phone number so that whenever she plays there, I can come accompany her.

** The surprising new is that, while I was singing one by one they started to join me and I realized that everyone in that place were musicians. It was a proud for me to sing with them. **
