ABOUT ME

I'm in the lovely post-college limbo, but have almost figured out that the point of life isn't necessarily figuring out what you're going to do next. My main occupation right now is working with whatever shows up in my life, rather than plotting and planning. The inscrutable blank wall I see when looking ahead has almost ceased to scare the crap out of me, and what I look forward to most nowadays is a few hours in my garden and a great conversation with a new or old friend. Afflicted by perpetual wanderlust, and at my best around 4 am next to a campfire.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unrelated to this site, I once spent two weeks camped out by the side of the road near Ninilchik, AK with a bunch of slime line workers. I had pretty much everything I deem necessary to life: some trees, a tent, a fire, beer, and some music. Perks included a beat-up Subaru, gainful employment, and the occasional free salmon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many...currently, I'm highly enjoying watching my little brother buck the system and do his own thing. I want to be like him when I grow up.
