ABOUT ME

We were recently married this summer and are excited for travel adventures. I have done quite a bit of traveling; however, Jeremy has not traveled as much even though he is stoked about it.

We both grew up on farms and enjoy spending time with our families and close friends. I always say I could live anywhere and find something I love in the place because every place I have ever been has it's strenghts and potential pitfalls.

We are fun-loving, kind and humble people. Jeremy is extremely goofy and has a great sense of humor and to top it off is very compassionate. I have a huge passion around social justice and working with youth and adults to discover their gifts/talents and to use their power in positive ways to create change in our communities.

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are very interested in hosting people who are traveling to the Twin Cities and other parts of Minnesota. We are excited about couch serving when we travel.

If travelors already have a place to stay we would be interested in meeting up. We welcome getting/giving travel suggestions and advice.

In addtion, we are interested in meeting up with local CouchSurfers.

We LOVE music...all kinds...indie rock, soul, hip hop, jazz, rock, bluegrass, the list goes on.

We really enjoy watching movies: suspense, comedy, action, romantic comedy and documentaries.

I really enjoy reading and most of my bookshelf is full of books about social justice and spirituality. I've recently started reading fiction books due to my sister-in-law who is an avid reader.

Each room in the Royal Palace in Madrid, Spain was designed and inspired from various places throughout the world--the most amazing architectual building.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I can teach you how to ride a horse (I trained and professionally showed horses for 15 years), how to play an endless amount of board/card/lawn games, how to speak a few words in Spanish, how to sew a few things and talk about anything having to do with social justice/social change.

Jeremy could teach you how to brew your own Kombucha tea, hunting, fishing and fix almost anything mechanical (heating/cooling of MRI machine, car, snow blow, computer, television, washing machine, etc.)

Jeremy would love how to learn to play the guitar and anything with cooking. We both want to learn how to dance better (we know a little bit of Tango & Merengue).

We could share the experience of showing you around our hometown and a small family farm! We love to learn and see anything having to do with traveling and embracing new experiences.
