After living in New Zealand for 29 years, I was offered my dream job in England. From my first day, I was spellbound. The experience of being in a new place, seeing new sights and meeting so many wonderful people was exciting and empowering. In January, I am embarking on another adventure, to the USA! My passions include: people, nature, music (especially classical guitar, piano and singing), writing, learning, eating, dancing, and sleeping.

Where I come from, Aotearoa (land of the long white cloud) New Zealand, our tangata whenua (people of the land) have a concept, ''ako''. My understanding of this concept is that it suggests that people are both teachers and learners simultaneously. I like this. I think that we all can learn from each other.
