I live with my partner in Edinburgh and when we're not working (which is unfortunately too much), we enjoy getting out and about in Scotland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started by couch surfing around Europe with my sister. Now my partner and I host surfers on our couch in Edinburgh.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some great couch surfing experiences. There's nothing quite like local knowledge and help through transport systems that appear complicated because you're foreign!

Interests

Running and cycling are a dominant theme in my life, very closely followed by spending time with people. Music and theatre are additional loves, and reading makes guest appearances.

Music ranges from Tom Waits to Vivaldi. Movies from Love Actually to Lion King. Books from poetry to historical novels or personal stories.

Waterfalls, mountains, oceans, forests, quiet villages, friendly cities - there is beauty to be found everywhere!

I'm a terrible cook, but a good listener. Like to find what a person enjoys, what inspires them, and help them find that special something.
