About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm busy working and saving up for a big bike tour in a few years. In the meantime, just trying to take advantage of all of the adventures Utah and the surrounding area has to offer.

ABOUT ME

Easygoing, adventurous, kind

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the personal connections developed and deeper insight into various cultures that I've gained through couchsurfing. So far it's been a much more rewarding way to travel and have enjoyed the locals I have met in the process. My boyfriend and I have also hosted several couchsurfers here in Salt Lake City, and have enjoyed getting to know people from all over the world and getting to share with them the things I love about this area too. We host mostly through his couchsurfing page, so check out "Daniel Wambaugh" for more info!

Music, Movies, and Books

Open to most music. I love live music--anything from a friend strumming on a guitar to seeing a favorite band play (or someone I've never heard of before) at a music festival.

I've finally been able to start reading again for fun now that grad school is over and no more textbooks! Some of my favorite authors are Tom Robbins, Kurt Vonnegut, Ed Abbey, Mary Roach, Oliver Sacks, David Sedaris, Roald Dahl and Bill Watterson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got a personal dance lesson from M.C. Hammer at the Sundance Film Festival one year, which was pretty awesome. Canyoneering through Clearwater Canyon in southern Utah--the last group's footprints through the canyon already had crypto growing on it. It is pretty cool to find yourself in a beautiful place that only a handful of people have ever had the chance to see.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Singapore
