Traveling the US in our Westfalia Camper Van for 7 months!

ABOUT ME

I am 28 and have been married to my best friend, David since 2006 (also 28). We have known each other since we were 9 years old. We have spent over a year and a half traveling over the course of the last 3 1/2 years.

When we are at home in Seattle, I resume my career of being a Fitness Personal Trainer.

David is the entrepreneur and is always working on various projects.

PHILOSOPHY

We are non-denominational, Bible believing Christians.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While traveling on our motorcycle in Europe we stayed with several couchsurfing hosts and it was by far the highlight of our trip.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our first CS experiences were so great and we look forward to meeting locals whoever we go! Staying in a hostel after spending time with great hosts feels so bland...

Interesses

David and I are both pretty active. We love hiking and backpacking in the woods, snowboarding and bike riding. We love to encourage and motivate others to do the things they've always longed for but never had the courage or will to do them.

I love to travel (obviously!) and I love to spend time with my husband sipping wine and dreaming of the next big adventure. I have recently gotten a little more domestic and now I love to cook and host people! We eat very healthy home cooked meals most days. I also enjoy running by the lake we live on.

David is into paragliding and is working on getting his P2 and P3 certifications. He is the proud owner of a KTM 640 Adventure motorcycle (the same one that took us around the world) and he loves to take it out on rides in the surrounding mountains and countryside.

We rode our motorcycle around the world for 14 months (started Sept. 2010).

We lived on a orphanage in South Africa for 4 months.

Well, since I'm a Personal Trainer I'd be happy to share my knowledge of fitness and nutrition with you. But then again, you are on holiday so I shouldn't expect you to care too much!
