As an open- minded, adventurous, spontaneous person, I´m always looking forward to new experiences and to meet new people all over the world.

I took a gap year in North America between my school graduation and my studies, where I was traveling along the East and the West coast of the U.S., as well as was staying in Canada for several months. It was the best time of my life as I´ve met so many fantastic people during that time, I´ve seen beautiful places and listened to great stories so that I don´t wanna stop enjoying that kind of lifestyle back home in Germany.

I´m really easy- going, got no expectations at all- it doesn´t matter for me who you are or how you look like- as long as we can have an awesome time together!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the way people trust in each other. We´re all cut out of the same wood as everybody who participates here is a traveler or at least really open-minded to new cultures and people. It´s so good to see that you can have fun with ppl from all over the world and find similarities among the cultures. I love talking English or any other foreign languages so that´s another reason why I love to do couchsurfing. And also, it´s just way better to stay with locals who can show you more than just the touristic sites and tell you interesting stories about the place you´re at than to stay in a hotel :)

Interests

I love doing all different kinds of sport- I love going for a run, playing soccer, go swimming, surfing, snowboarding- even hiking can now be added to my favs after doing all these beautiful hikes around Vancouver.
I like to listen to good music; Mumford and Sons on a sunny day and with nice people around, R´n B to go out and dance.....
I love to meet up with my friends and have a nice barbecue on the beach or in somebody´s yard.
I like to meet new people, having interesting conversations while sitting around a bonfire or just cooking together.
I love being outside and enjoy every minute the sun´s shining- but I also like cuddling together and watch a movie when it´s getting dark outside or having a glass of wine and just chatting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing my diving license on Koh Tao in Thailand and, in addition, snorkeling in the beautiful blue ocean in Egypt and the Corall riff there!
Watching the sunrise from the top of Haleacala on Maui and the amazing sunsets in Vancouver (or on its islands).

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a very optimistic person, I always find the good in the bad- that´s what my friends appreciate a lot. They think I´m a very strong woman who is able to deal with a lot of different things at the same time and who always finds a way to solve a problem.
