A spark for something new could be e.g. interesting people. - Sustainability, renewable energy, energy efficiency. Visiting Hamburg in June 2025. Stopping at least in Sweden. Would like to see different places and people. Perhaps buying a CNG bus with 17-26 seats if finding one....

ABOUT ME

I was an energy engineering student in Pori, Western Finland. I've studied the same topic also in Lappeenranta and between those schools I drove trucks and buses, mostly in and from Lahti. The permanent home is located in Asikkala.

I do not like smoking. I like to check pubs, restaurants and clubs, but I don't live in them - couple of beers sometimes is ok, but overdosing is not my hobby.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Joined in spring 2012, but really used this and Hospitalityclub only in winter 2013, with good success when going Sweden-Germany-Poland-Baltics. Hoping to be able to accommodate and/or to be the local guide.

I'm described quite much with sustainable living: I've chosen my studies, my work, my housing etc. to do my part, to learn more and to be able to do more for environmental issues. But I've not chosen my friends too strictly, I know all kind of people. =) And I'm not living perfectly, for instance I prefer vegetarian food, but sometimes eat nearly everything.

At the moment I'm not very active, hoping to find some life into my life. But I've used my time also for choir singing, brass band, going to concerts, gigs and museums. I'm not any athlete, but my physical training consists of making fire wood, pushing snow, walking or biking short distances. I've done couple of longer bike trips and would like to hang on with this habit.

Languages. I'm not any linguist, but like to learn more and maintain the skills. English is the easiest choice, but not the one I like the most. So, feel free to teach me words on about renewable energy or energy efficiency in some other language! :)
