ABOUT ME

My wife and I met in Ashikaga, Japan. She was a police officer, and I worked for a computer parts supplier for Apple. 6 months later we were married and I moved her here from the States. She is an excellent cook and loves to have people stay at our house.

PHILOSOPHY

We know that Jesus is the Lord of our lives and we love sharing the Love He has given us with others that walk through our doors.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

C/S is just an extension of what my parents taught me. "If anyone needs a bed, our home is open". We had guest all the time in our home and thank God that my parents taught me this great experience. Now my son gets to meet all kinds of wonderful people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have enjoyed getting to know people from all over the world. We have enjoyed the people who come into our house and be thankful for anything we have done. We have learned that when we go into a house in a different country and we don't typically eat the local food, we participate and eat everything that is set in front of us. It can be rude to not eat the hosts' meals.

兴趣

We love to hike, bike and any other outdoor activity. I (heidi) love to cook and have a cup of coffee and entertain guest. Wataru loves to research things and he can find "a needle in a haystack".

My wife was on the old show "American Gladitors" long time ago. I spent 10 years in the states and became a life long student.

To learn means that we listen to others. We have had CS stay at our home and never ask one question about us. We continue to learn about them but we have met people that have lost the art of communication, it means ASK questions to others, not only talk about yourself!
